Amanda's Story
Hello,
I wanted to share my testimony with you.
I got diagnosed with UC when I was 3 months pregnant
in August of 2000. Needless to say I had a very
complicated and frightening pregnancy. I was on Asacol
and Prednisone for the last 2 trimesters of my
pregnancy. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl but I
was still very sick because of the UC. The
prescriptions made my mood and appetite constantly
fluctuate. I had severe headaches and fatigue. I
suffered with serious flare ups that put me into the
hospital 4 times.
