Joni's Story



I developed ulcerative colitis due to overuse of antibiotics. I'm started to get it stabilized (I think). I'm using the Omega 3 supplement 2-3 times a day. Aloe Vera juice 1/2 cup in the am and 1/2 cup in the pm. Also, probiotics 3-4 times a day. I've stopped using dairy products. I've switched to soy. Seems to be helping.

My biggest problem right now is the eye pain (inflammation) which is a symptom, I guess. When it flares up is when it is the worst. I've also noticed that when I eat alot of sugar the colitis tends to flare up. Still learning.
