Mark's Story
Hi, my name is Mark.
I am 41 years old and was diagnosed last year with UC
for the first time last year. I was so sick by the
time I got to the hospital that I spent a full week in
there after 8 hours in the emergency room. Then I
spent 5 weeks laying on my living room floor while I
got back the strength to go back to work. It was
three weeks after returning home before I had the
strength to get up to eat when I was hungry.
I was on Asacol and a steroid which gave me acne and
was making my hair fall out, so I knew I had to get
off of the drugs. I have been a vegetarian for over 7
years now and have always been very athletic.
My disease is about 90 percent cured now. I have
never experienced a remission as most people talk
about, but only a daily lessening or worsening of
symptoms.
Daily, I take aloe juice, flax seed oil, glutamine,
folic acid, and a probiotic. This basic regime kept
me healthy enough to get through life, work and light
exercise. I usually start the day with a super foods
green supplement and as I mentioned I eat a very
health vegetarian diet.
Recently I started a detoxing program. First I did a
full body detox. Then I did liver cleanses and I
discovered that I had some very serious liver issues.
The next day after I cleaned a load of vile, black,
filth from my liver, my acne completely cleared up and
my metabolism went back to normal, both of which had
been serious issues for me after leaving the hospital.
Quickly thereafter my colon symptoms improved
dramatically. (The liver dumps its toxins directly
into the colon)
Next I did a parasite cleanse which gave me back
unbelievable amounts of strength and energy and
improved my colon condition even more. I haven't felt
this generally good since I was 8-years old. (I have
read parasites could contribute to UC also)
After that, I did some mental/emotional therapy
dealing with stored up anger and resentments resulting
from physical and psychological abuse issues from my
childhood, which I had never faced or even
acknowledged. I am not a new age type, but I have to
tell you that as I confronted issues my colon would go
into spasms, then after going through the process with
my memories, my colon would completely relax and all
symptoms would dissapear for a while. Very powerfull!
At this point my UC is 90 percent better. I still
plan to get my old metal fillings removed as I have
read they can lead to UC, and I plan to cleanse my
digestive tract with Bentonite clay and Phsyillium
husk shakes as the final step now that I think I am at
the point that my colon could handle it (i.e. I have a
lining). I also plan to do some more work with my
emotions as I have experienced first hand how negative
ones are stored in the parts of my colon where I have
the problems. I am hoping by the time I am done I
will be in full remission.
Could luck you guys. I wish you all the best.
